How to Transcribe Audio/Video Files to Text for FREE (no time limits) using Google Docs or MS Word
In this tutorial, we will discuss how to transcribe audio files into text automatically and for free. We will be using VB audio virtual cable and Google Docs for this purpose.
Step 1:
Download and install VB audio virtual cable. You can download this software for free from the VB audio link in the description of the video.

Step 2:
Once downloaded, right-click on the file and select the 'extract files' option. Double click on the folder and locate the file that you need to install, either the VB cable setup or the 64-bit computer file
.Step 3:
Right-click on the file and select the 'run as administrator' option. Now, click on the 'install driver' option.
Step 4:
Once the installation is complete, open the Windows system tray and right-click on the sound icon. Go to 'open sound settings' and select 'cable input' as the output device.
Step 5:
Open Google Docs and start a new document. Click on the 'tools' option and select '
voice typing'.
Now, click on the microphone icon and start playing the audio file that you want to transcribe. Google Docs will automatically transcribe the file for you.Using this method, you can easily transcribe audio files into text automatically and for free.
You can use this same method in Microsoft Word as well.
